Winning Awards in 2017-18!
This year, our partners, and graduates have recieved a variety of awards relating to Project SEARCH Bradford. In October, Bradford Teaching Hospital’s won an award at the Easier Access Event for “Best Practice in the Employment of Disabled People”.
Later in the year, Ben, a graduate of the programme won BTHFT’s Chief Executive’s “Unsung Hero” award for his hard work in implementing the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
Then, in June, the collaborative work on the programme was recognised at the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) Awards 2018, by winning the “University of Bradford Award for Cross-Sector Working”.

Three Interns Leave Programme Early to Start Jobs
Three of our 2017-18 interns have left the programme early as they have all been offered jobs! Sam, has gained an administrative role at BTHFT, Kieron was offered an apprenticeship with a landscape gardening company, and Sophie began working in the catering team in a local school. Well done, and goof luck to all three!
